Offshore Tanks
Suretank’s offshore tanks are used for the safe transport and storage of a wide range of liquids including chemicals for oil and gas processes, drilling processes, waste liquids and aviation fuel.
Suretank combines this requirement with concern for the offshore operator and the integrity of the facility, with particular emphasis on the safety of personnel and the environment.
Each product is true to the company’s design principles of full compliance, optimum access and storage, long life and low maintenance, with attendant cost benefits.
Offshore Chemical Tanks
Suretank offer a wide range of offshore chemical tanks which meet all current international standards required to safely move classified dangerous goods.
We offer both horizontal and vertical tanks with capacities ranging from 300L right up to 20,000L. Larger capacities can be supplied on request. Footprints can also be tailored to suit space constraints on board the offshore platform.
Design Codes/Standards include DNV2.7-1, ISO10855, ADR/RID, IMDG, ASME VIII, ISO1496, CSC. ASME U-Stamp and PED available on request, along with a host of other standards such as NORSOK etc.
Tank Material of Construction and valve configuration can all be tailored to suit exacting customer demands. With the exception of the larger capacity tanks >9000L, all of our tanks come bolted as standard which greatly aids with tank maintenance allowing the tank to be removed from the frame if required.
Manlids, 3-Stage bottom Outlets, Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valves and Airlines are provided as standard. A host of optional extras are available including but not limited to – Remote Actuation, Level Gauges, Fall Arrestors, Handrails, Stainless Steel Fork-pockets, and Additional Connections.
Offshore Helifuel Tanks
Suretank offer a range of specialised helifuel tanks which meet all current international standards required to safely move helifuel in a controlled manner.
We offer both horizontal and vertical tanks with capacities ranging from 300L right up to 6,000L. Larger capacities are available on request. Footprints can also be tailored to suit space constraints on board the offshore platform.
Design Codes/Standards include DNV2.7-1, ISO10855, ADR/RID, IMDG, ASME VIII, CAP437. ASME U-Stamp and PED are available on request, along with a host of other standards such as NORSOK, etc.

Offshore Acid Tanks
Suretank offer a range of Acid tanks certified to safely move corrosive/harmful products offshore.
We offer both horizontal and vertical tanks with capacities ranging from 1500L up to 17,000L. Larger capacities can also be supplied on request. Footprints can also be tailored to suit space constraints on board the offshore platform.
Design Codes/Standards include DNV2.7-1, ISO10855, ADR/RID, IMDG, ASME VIII, ISO1496, CSC. ASME U-Stamp and PED are also available on request, along with a host of other standards such as NORSOK etc.
Typical linings include LLDPE, Rubber (Natural, Butyl etc). GRP, Corroflake etc. Suretank can work in conjunction with the client to specify correct lining material depending on the application.
Acid tanks are typically supplied as top outlet only but, if code requirements allow, we can supply lined bottom outlets.
Custom Offshore Tanks
Suretank can also provide a wide range of custom offshore tanks to meet exacting customer requirements.
These include mixing and storage tanks – typically used for well stimulation, storage tanks for helicopter refuelling systems, and process vessels for mud handling/separation.
Tanks can be designed to meet requirements in relation to footprint, capacity, material of construction, pressures, valve configuration – and come fully certified to the required standards.
